Role overview
This position is for a Warehouse Operative within the Batch Preparation team at the Chester site in Mold, Wales, United Kingdom. The role supports the day-to-day flow of batch preparation work, including handling incoming materials, picking stock, and preparing batches in controlled areas. It is a smaller-scale operation, offering scope to learn, contribute, and develop within a close-knit team.
Key duties
- Follow company rules and procedures while helping maintain safe working practices for yourself and the wider team.
- Take delivery of raw materials, inspect them, and collect samples in a controlled setting.
- Select raw materials from the assigned drop area and complete batch preparation inside designated controlled zones.
- Prepare goods for outbound dispatch, including producing pallet labels for batches that are ready to leave.
- Keep the work area tidy, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Return raw materials back into stock where appropriate.
- Flag any damaged goods, equipment issues, or materials that do not meet standards.
- Pay close attention to details such as item checks, lot numbers, bag weights, and quantities.

Working pattern and pay
This is a 36.75-hour-per-week role, worked Monday to Friday, with overtime available on weekends and paid at an additional rate. The annual salary is £24,746, plus shift allowance and a 10% shift premium bonus.
