Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting production by designing and refining manufacturing procedures aimed at boosting product quality, operational effectiveness, and safety. This position collaborates closely with production teams to implement process improvements and champion continuous enhancement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and enhance manufacturing workflows to increase efficiency and product excellence.
  • Analyze current processes to uncover opportunities for operational enhancement.
  • Assist production teams in troubleshooting manufacturing challenges.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions, process documents, and standard operating procedures.
  • Execute root cause investigations and enforce corrective measures.
  • Work alongside quality assurance, maintenance, and production departments to advance process improvements.
  • Participate in equipment qualification and validation procedures.
  • Track manufacturing performance indicators and suggest actionable improvements.
  • Contribute to lean manufacturing and ongoing continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain adherence to safety and quality regulations.
  • Aid in production scheduling and capacity assessment activities.
  • Offer technical assistance during the rollout of new products.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of experience specifically in Manufacturing Engineering roles.
  • Background in industrial, automotive, aerospace, or consumer product manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
