Job description

Role overview

EY is looking for a Manager to join its Technology Risk practice in Doha and support client work across the MENA region. The role sits within a regional delivery model, so you will collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple countries and industries. The work focuses on helping organizations build trust, manage uncertainty, and strengthen risk practices in technology-heavy environments.

You will contribute to engagements for MENA-based EY member firms, supporting a wide range of clients and industries. Because the team works across borders, the role includes travel and exposure to diverse projects.

What you will do

  • Support partners and senior leaders in managing client engagements at a tactical level and help drive delivery as part of engagement teams.
  • Use your experience to tackle complex client challenges and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders across MENA.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with current and potential clients while identifying opportunities to present EY’s Digital Risk and broader consulting services.
  • Take part in business development work such as account planning, pipeline building, and market scanning to spot new opportunities.
  • Help prepare, coordinate, and submit proposals, RFPs, and tenders that are competitive and aligned to client needs.
  • Manage designated accounts by keeping clients engaged, identifying upsell opportunities, and supporting high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Represent EY at industry events, forums, and networking activities to help build visibility and generate new business connections.
  • Work across multiple client teams as a team lead or team member, maintain communication with stakeholders, and keep senior colleagues updated on progress.
  • Support client service delivery, contribute to assigned tasks, and help prepare reports for clients and other stakeholders.

What the role calls for

The position suits a proactive, accountable, results-oriented professional who can handle competing priorities, manage resources effectively, and communicate clearly. A strong commercial mindset is important, along with the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.

You should be comfortable in client-facing situations, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and confident in outreach and pipeline development activities.

Required background

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A degree in business, accounting, or finance is also acceptable if supported by additional IT qualifications.
  • 6 to 7 years of relevant experience as an IT risk consultant, IT auditor, or comparable IT/IS consultant in a public accounting firm, professional services firm, technology company, telecom company, or financial services organization.
  • Practical exposure to areas such as IT risk assessment and management, digital trust, mobile technology assessments, emerging technologies like robotics, IoT, cloud, and blockchain, ERP control testing for SAP, Oracle, and MS Dynamics, systems and networking technologies, IT/business process and internal control reviews, internal audit work, external audit integration, data analytics, and third-party reporting.
  • Professional-level fluency in Arabic and/or English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to think creatively and independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications

  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or CIA certification is highly desirable for growth in the role. Other relevant certifications, credentials, or comparable experience may also be accepted depending on a candidate’s background and specialization.
  • Prior experience in a similar position with an international consulting firm.
  • A more operational approach, with the ability to institutionalize best practices and improve processes.

What EY offers

  • A competitive compensation package linked to performance and the value you bring.
  • Long-term career growth within a global Big 4 firm operating in nearly every country in the world.
  • Continuous learning to help you build the mindset and capabilities needed for future challenges.
  • Flexibility and support to define success in your own way and create meaningful impact.
  • Leadership development through coaching, insight, and confidence-building support.
  • An inclusive and diverse culture where you are encouraged to use your voice and contribute authentically.

Additional information

This role is designed for professionals who want to grow in a market-facing environment and take ownership of client conversations, opportunity identification, and proposal development. The position also offers significant travel opportunities due to EY’s regional operating model.
