Overview
WSP in New Zealand is looking for a Manager of Fire and Life Safety Engineering to help lead and grow its service line across key locations in Aotearoa New Zealand, including Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, and Wellington. This role sits within a major design, engineering, and environmental consultancy with a strong focus on creating long-term positive impact for communities and future-proofing cities and the environment.
In this position, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Building Engineering Services and take responsibility for strategic direction, innovation, and leadership across Fire and Life Safety engineering. The role is focused on delivering strong outcomes for clients and stakeholders through effective commercial performance, team leadership, and project delivery.
Role purpose
You will contribute technical expertise, leadership, and design capability across all areas of Fire and Life Safety engineering for a broad client base. The role combines business growth, service-line leadership, and multidisciplinary project oversight.
