About the Role

This position sits within the APAC compensation and employee programs function and focuses on shaping and running a region-wide benefits agenda. The role is highly visible and reports to the APAC Director of Compensation & Employee Programs. It is designed for someone who can combine strategic thinking, operational discipline, governance, and analytics to build a benefits approach that works across a diverse multi-country environment.

The scope covers both long-term strategy and day-to-day operating effectiveness. You will help create a scalable benefits framework that stays aligned with global principles while still reflecting local laws, market practices, and workforce needs across APAC.

The broader aim is to support employee value, sustainable workforce outcomes, and careful cost control while keeping the program compliant and well governed.

  • Ensure programs meet multi-country legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
  • Raise governance standards and strengthen controls across the benefits landscape.
  • Establish reliable regional benefits data foundations.
  • Provide analysis on benefit usage, claims movement, cost drivers, and employee behaviour patterns.
  • Define and improve operating models for benefits delivery in order to reduce overlap and confusion.
  • Work closely with HR Services leadership as a strategic partner.
  • Lead the operating approach and implementation planning for complex or large-scale initiatives such as harmonisation, funding changes, vendor switches, and new program launches.
  • Create and maintain an operations scorecard.

Requirements

  • Background working with shared services or HR service delivery teams.
  • Exposure to environments involving multiple countries, compliance, and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of the full benefits lifecycle from design through administration and oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability in process design and risk control.
