The business is built on a culture of care, connection and community, with a strong focus on teamwork, capability and making a meaningful contribution every day.

This is a place where leadership is valued, ideas are heard, and you can finish each shift knowing you have helped deliver something important.

The Opportunity

DBCT is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join the Asset Management Planning team. The role is central to protecting the safety and integrity of the terminal while supporting the organisation’s medium-term maintenance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute forward-looking maintenance plans, with a focus on major mechanical and electrical work packages, to support the five-year planning cycle.
  • Coordinate information and inputs required for five-year planning and budget estimates.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and maintenance teams to produce safe, high-standard plans that align with the site’s mid-term objectives.
  • Support planning and operational performance over the 18-month to 3-year horizon.

Your contribution will help improve efficiency and reinforce a safe, dependable working environment.

About You

DBCT is looking for a motivated professional who brings initiative, energy and a collaborative approach to the role.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven background in maintenance planning and work package preparation.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Well-developed relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and practical outcomes.
  • Experience working in heavy industry, resources, or continuous processing settings.
  • Trade qualifications such as boilermaker, electrician or fitter are strongly preferred.

Benefits and Rewards

  • Monday to Friday roster with the benefit of returning home each night.
  • Employer superannuation contribution of up to 12%.
  • Eligibility for a short-term incentive bonus.
  • Five weeks of annual leave plus leave loading.
  • Relocation assistance, where applicable.
  • Access to learning and development support, including further education opportunities.
  • Discounted fuel, novated leasing and a broader employee benefits program.
  • Onsite physiotherapy, wellbeing initiatives and an Employee Assistance Program.

Workplace Inclusion

DBCT is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee feels respected, supported and empowered to contribute.
