Role overview
This full-time, on-site Maintenance Floater position is based from the Facilities Department in Mattydale, NY, and supports PEACE, Inc. locations across the Central New York region. The role focuses on keeping buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas safe, tidy, and in working order through routine and preventive upkeep.
Schedule and pay
The work schedule is weekdays from 7:00am to 3:00pm, for 52 weeks each year. Pay starts at $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
What you will do
You will carry out day-to-day maintenance and basic facility support across multiple sites. This includes minor repairs, handling maintenance service requests, helping with custodial tasks, and assisting with troubleshooting related to carpentry, electrical, and plumbing concerns. Seasonal responsibilities may also include snow removal and landscaping.
Qualifications
Applicants should have prior experience in maintenance or custodial work and must hold a current New York State driver license.
