Log Loader / High Stacker Operator - Pan Pac

Role overview

Qube is hiring a permanent, full-time machine operator for its Pan Pac site in Napier, Hawke's Bay. This is a rostered position that can involve both day and night shifts. The role requires strong experience in log handling, a safety-first mindset, and a mature, proactive approach to work.

What the job involves

• Operating log loaders and wheeled high stackers across the site.
• Sorting logs into neat, organized rows.
• Moving logs throughout the log yard as needed.
• Building log decks for the Chipmill and Sawmill.
• Keeping communication clear and consistent with the team.

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for someone with proven log handling experience who works well with others and brings a positive, can-do attitude. You should be comfortable with shift-based work, including nights when required, and be ready to contribute actively in a busy operational environment.

Checks and conditions
