They are looking for a Loan Officer Assistant who is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable supporting a busy loan officer team. The role plays an important part in keeping the loan process moving smoothly from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers at every stage of the mortgage origination process.
• Gather, check, and arrange borrower paperwork such as income, asset, and credit documentation.
• Coordinate communication with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal staff.
• Help track pipelines, disclosures, and ongoing follow-ups.
• Work with a high level of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

Applicants should have prior experience in mortgage or financial services, such as Loan Officer Assistant, Processor, Junior Processor, or a similar role. Strong organization and time management are essential, along with polished written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently while handling several files at once is important. Familiarity with mortgage paperwork, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is an advantage, and experience using loan origination systems like Encompass, Calyx, or Arrive is also preferred.
