Role overview
The Legal Admin Intern will support the legal function with contract-related work, intellectual property tasks, document organization, and general administrative coordination. This role also includes help with legal research, internal materials, and day-to-day support for the team.
Key responsibilities
- Help review and draft contracts, including proofreading, sanity checks, and polishing draft policies or guidelines.
- Support intellectual property work such as trademark and patent-related administrative tasks.
- Carry out research on legal matters and corporate governance topics when required.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and training slides.
- Maintain and update the legal resources portal and other document storage systems.
- File and organize contractual records in the electronic database.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team in daily operations.
- Handle other assigned ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications and preferred profile
Applicants should be undergraduates pursuing a Bachelor of Laws or a related legal discipline. The role suits someone who is comfortable with legal research, document review, and basic editing of policies or guidelines. Prior familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools is preferred. Strong attention to detail, good organization, the ability to handle several tasks at once, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment are important. Candidates should be able to work independently, collaborate well with others, and bring a positive, energetic attitude.
