Job description

About the Role

Hasbro is seeking a curious and proactive Learning & Engagement Specialist to support a growing Learning, Engagement & Belonging function. The role blends learning and development operations, employee engagement, and belonging initiatives, with a focus on delivering well-run programs, improving processes, and turning data into practical action. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well with many stakeholders, and wants to help create a workplace that employees genuinely value.

The work sits at the intersection of L&D, engagement, and belonging, supporting initiatives that range from development programs to events and community-building experiences. The team partners closely with HR leaders and program owners to ensure programs are delivered consistently, efficiently, and with strong documentation and reporting.

Work Location

This role is onsite Tuesday through Thursday. Once Hasbro’s new Boston location opens, the position will be based at the new headquarters in Boston, MA on those days. Until then, the role will be onsite Tuesday through Thursday either at Hasbro’s headquarters in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary Boston location.

Learning & Development Support

  • Own the day-to-day coordination of in-person and virtual learning sessions, workshops, programs, and conferences, ensuring participants have a smooth experience and activities run on schedule.
  • Manage logistics from start to finish, including venue coordination, trainer scheduling, and equipment or technology setup, while identifying risks early and putting backup plans in place.
  • Run registration processes, attendance tracking, and completion reporting within learning platforms; verify data accuracy and prepare insights that support program decisions.
  • Keep training calendars, communications, and program records current, and create reusable templates and guidance that improve clarity and reduce turnaround time.

Employee Engagement & Event Production

  • Support planning and delivery of engagement activities such as brand celebrations, recognition events, and team-building programs in collaboration with the relevant owners.
  • Handle event operations including vendors, catering, technology, materials, and run-of-show details to create an inclusive, polished event experience.
  • Prepare recurring reports on participation, engagement measures, budget tracking, and program results, and summarize findings for HR and leadership audiences.
  • Provide live onsite support for events when needed, resolving issues in real time and adjusting plans to keep execution seamless.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to convert data into actionable insights that support longer-term planning and continuous improvement.

Belonging & Inclusion Initiatives

  • Coordinate programs and campaigns that strengthen belonging and inclusion across the organization, ensuring disciplined execution and consistent communications.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups and belonging councils through planning schedules, materials, and coordination support.
  • Act as an operational partner to program owners by managing timelines, deliverables, dependencies, budget tracking, and communications planning.

Vendor & Finance Coordination

  • Serve as the main contact for learning and event vendors, manage contracting steps, track deliverables and renewals, and review or process invoices with procurement and finance.
  • Work with procurement and finance to ensure purchasing compliance, resolve exceptions, and keep the team updated on status.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a closely related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, learning and development, program operations, employee engagement, event production, or a comparable field, with ownership of complex workstreams.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities, including building repeatable reports, analyzing trends, and presenting insights clearly.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to improve processes, create documentation, and coordinate across many stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare polished updates and guidance for leadership audiences.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information, along with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities, ambiguity, and the need to influence without formal authority.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to relationship-building across a global organization.

Compensation & Incentives

The pay range for this position is USD 66,700 to USD 100,100 per year. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, location, and market conditions. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives depending on role, location, and eligibility.
