About the Role
Primark is looking for a Learning & Delivery Specialist to support people development across its Irish market. This position sits within People & Culture and is suited to someone who can establish trust quickly, work at speed, and make an immediate contribution in a busy retail setting.
The role is centered on designing, coordinating, and delivering learning solutions that support colleagues in stores and regional offices. You will work across a range of stakeholders, balancing delivery priorities while maintaining quality and precision in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research stakeholder needs and use those insights to shape global learning and development approaches, along with more tailored learning solutions.
- Manage several development programmes for store-based and regional office colleagues across different learning topics.
- Deliver learning initiatives quickly while juggling multiple priorities in an operational, high-demand environment.
- Confidently lead training sessions in energetic retail settings and adjust your style to suit frontline teams.
- Support the design of learning interventions and facilitate engaging, interactive training experiences aligned to business needs.
- Coordinate in-person training arrangements, communication, and LMS activity to improve colleague access and participation.
- Measure training impact, review data for improvement opportunities, and keep up with new trends and tools in learning and development.
- Work closely with P&C operations to maintain accurate tracking, handle supplier relationships, and step in for the L&D Delivery Manager when needed.
What You Will Bring
- More than 5 years of experience creating and delivering varied training initiatives in corporate and retail settings.
- Background in retail or other fast-moving operational environments such as hospitality, logistics, or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of learning principles, delivery methods, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage different audiences through presentations, workshops, and group discussions.
- Ability to understand business needs quickly, build relationships fast, and contribute with minimal ramp-up time.
- Proven capability to organise complex projects in a dynamic environment, work through ambiguity, and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Experience working across multiple sites and supporting geographically dispersed teams.
- Genuine interest in people development, collaboration, and building capability across all levels of the organisation.
