About the Role

Virgin Voyages is looking for a strategic and skilled Leadership Communications Manager to define and enhance how our leaders communicate and engage across the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing leadership communications (excluding C-suite) to ensure messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's overall narrative and culture. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will collaborate with senior leaders to transform business objectives into communications that foster trust, clarity, and belief among our global Crew.

This is a hands-on role for an individual contributor responsible for key communication workstreams. The position is based at Virgin Voyages Head Office (VVHQ) in Plantation, FL, operating under a hybrid work model. In-office collaboration days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with Mondays and Fridays designated as remote workdays.

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership Communications Ownership: Take charge of communications for senior and broader leadership, ensuring messages are clear, compelling, and aligned with company priorities. Draft high-quality content, including announcements, talking points, scripts, presentations, and internal posts. Simplify complex business updates into accessible and engaging messages for various audiences.
  • Executive Support (C-Suite): Assist the Director in developing C-suite communications, including drafting, editing, and refining messages. Help prepare materials for significant leadership events such as company updates, major announcements, and cultural milestones. Maintain consistency in tone, narrative, and messaging across all leadership levels.
  • Leadership Enablement: Create and manage communication toolkits for leaders, including briefing documents, FAQs, cascades, and messaging frameworks. Equip leaders with the necessary tools and confidence to communicate effectively with their teams. Ensure leaders are aligned and prepared for key initiatives, changes, and important moments.
  • Strategic Narrative & Change Communications: Collaborate with departments like People, Operations, and Finance to support communications for critical business initiatives and change management processes. Shape messaging that links strategy to purpose, helping Crew understand the implications for them. Ensure leadership communications reinforce the overarching internal narrative and brand voice.
  • Leadership Channels & Engagement: Manage leadership-specific communication channels, such as newsletters, updates, and internal briefings. Identify opportunities to enhance the visibility and connection between leaders and Crew. Support the planning and execution of leadership engagement activities, including Q&As, updates, and forums.
  • Governance & Quality: Uphold high standards for clarity, tone, and consistency in all leadership communications. Act as a guardian of internal communication standards, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging frameworks. Review and refine content to ensure it resonates with diverse global audiences.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Possess 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, leadership communications, corporate communications, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience supporting or drafting communications for senior leaders is preferred.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic, or high-growth environments is advantageous.
