Role Overview
This opportunity is for a dependable, practical laboratory technician to support a manufacturing client in Hunua. The work is based in Papakura, Auckland, New Zealand, and the site location specified for the role is Hunua.

Key Duties
You will assist with everyday laboratory operations and support a well-established manufacturing business by carrying out practical sample testing tasks and maintaining accurate records.
- Gather aggregate samples and prepare them for analysis.
- Perform routine lab tests by following established procedures.
- Enter and record results carefully and accurately.
- Use testing tools and handle samples safely at all times.
- Maintain a tidy, organised laboratory that meets health and safety expectations.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to the broader laboratory team.
Candidate Profile
- You should be physically capable and comfortable with lifting heavier materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are important.
- The ideal person is dependable, safety-minded, and open to learning new skills.
- Basic computer literacy is required for data entry and record keeping.
- Clear communication and a cooperative team approach are valued.
- Experience in a laboratory, construction materials, or testing environment would be helpful, though it is not mandatory.
