Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site kitchen role in Nagpur. The person in this position will support daily kitchen operations, help prepare food, keep the work area clean and organised, and assist the chef and other team members during service.

Key Duties

  • Support food preparation by chopping, marinating, cooking, and plating dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic by washing utensils, maintaining work surfaces, and following sanitation practices.
  • Sort, organise, and store ingredients properly to maintain food quality and safety.
  • Assist the head chef and kitchen staff during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow kitchen safety procedures and support basic inventory checks and stock control when required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to follow recipes, preparation steps, and plating instructions with accuracy.
  • Should understand basic kitchen operations, cleanliness standards, and food safety practices.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills are needed to work effectively with chefs and colleagues.
  • Must be physically fit to stand for long periods, carry supplies, and handle a fast-moving kitchen environment.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen or food service setup will be considered an advantage.
  • Should be open to working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Basic education is expected, along with the ability to understand instructions in English or a local language.
