What the employer is looking for
The ideal person is upbeat, enthusiastic, and passionate about working in a busy team environment. Previous experience is not required. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are the main qualities needed. Training and career growth
The company notes that many current team leaders and managers began their careers in the kitchen or behind the bar. Development support may include structured on-the-job training, apprenticeships, management academies, cross-training in bar, floor, or hotel areas, and progression routes into team leader, kitchen shift leader, or pub manager roles.
Pay and benefits
The advertised pay is £12.91 per hour. Additional benefits include a free meal and drink while working, a 20% discount on food, drinks, and hotel accommodation for the employee and up to three guests when off duty, an extra £1 per hour for work completed between midnight and 5:59 a.m., a bonus of up to 19% of pay, paid holiday, free shares after a qualifying period, and a loyalty reward scheme. Both guaranteed-hours and variable-hours contracts are available.
Important notes
