Overview
Join Las Iguanas as a Kitchen Porter and contribute to the lively, fast-paced kitchen environment inspired by the flavors and culture of Latin America. This role is focused on supporting the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and assisting in food preparation, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas including meal preparation surfaces, ovens, grills, sinks, and stoves.
- Receive and store deliveries of food and equipment properly.
- Ensure that work surfaces, floors, and walls remain clean and hygienic.
- Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks such as peeling and washing ingredients.
- Keep freezers, refrigerators, storage, and back-of-house areas clean and well-organized.
