Role overview
This is an in-office recruiting role based in Austin, Texas, focused on talent search for professional sports organizations and the technology businesses that support them. The work spans areas such as performance analytics, wearables, fan engagement, and ticketing technology. The position is designed for someone who wants to learn recruiting directly from a founder and take on meaningful responsibility early.
What you will do
- Lead the initial stages of searches and gradually expand into managing end-to-end recruiting assignments.
- Identify and source candidates for engineering, product, data, and commercial positions within the sports sector.
- Conduct first-round screening conversations with applicants.
- Maintain and organize candidate pipelines throughout the hiring process.
- Draft outreach messages that encourage responses and engagement.
- Join client discussions to understand how searches are defined, presented, and finalized.
