Job Summary
Helic & Co. is looking for a meticulous and analytical Junior Supply Chain Analyst to bolster our supply chain operations. This position involves contributing to data analysis, inventory oversight, demand prediction, and enhancing operational efficiency for the smooth and economical flow of goods. It presents a significant chance for individuals aiming to establish a career in supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathering, examining, and interpreting supply chain data to pinpoint patterns and areas for improvement.
- Supporting demand forecasting and the planning of inventory levels.
- Overseeing inventory quantities to prevent both stockouts and excess stock.
- Providing data-driven insights and reports to procurement and logistics departments.
- Generating routine reports on supply chain performance metrics, including costs and delivery timelines.
- Collaborating with various departments such as procurement, warehousing, and transportation.
- Identifying potential areas for process enhancements and cost reductions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of records within supply chain systems and databases.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 0 to 2 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analysis; relevant internships are considered.
- Demonstrated strong capabilities in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP; familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools is advantageous.
- Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is beneficial.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- A foundational knowledge of supply chain operations, encompassing procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
- Prior experience with data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
