Role Summary
In this position, you will support accurate, timely, and policy-compliant payroll processing. The role covers payroll operations across several EU countries and involves regular coordination with employees, payroll providers, and internal teams. It is designed for someone who wants to deepen payroll expertise while working closely with experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Own regional payroll processing activities for multiple EU countries from start to finish.
- Run payroll on schedule while following company rules, working-time regulations, and labor legislation.
- Check payroll outputs such as pay, deductions, taxes, and employer-related costs before sign-off and funding.
- Prepare general ledger files and partner with the Finance team.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with payroll vendors.
- Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and other payroll-related inquiries.
- Help implement updates driven by legal changes, internal policies, business needs, or process improvements.
- Maintain standard operating procedures for the assigned countries.
- Respond to employee questions and routine payroll support requests.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll operations.
- Good understanding of payroll processing and compliance obligations.
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Very good attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Customer-focused attitude with solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
