Role Overview
This position is a data-led operational support role within the Boning Hall and Abattoir teams. You will help the business measure performance more effectively by gathering, checking, analysing, and reporting operational information accurately.
Key Duties
Your work will focus on tracking production results, preparing performance reports, and supporting the teams with reliable data.
- Gather production information and check it for accuracy before it is entered into reporting systems.
- Compile KPI reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including production output, yield, throughput, labour efficiency, rework, and waste.
- Keep reporting tools up to date, such as spreadsheets, databases, and dashboards.
- Work alongside supervisors and managers to follow work orders and review production outcomes.
- Review variances, downtime, rework, and other operational losses to spot patterns and problem areas.
- Create charts, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Assist with continuous improvement work by providing useful data analysis and reporting support.
- Share findings clearly with supervisors and management, and support operational meetings when needed.
Working Arrangements
The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, generally from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The factory is in a location that is not easily reached by public transport.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring strong numerical ability, a careful eye for detail, and confidence working with data.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic to good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to organise, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- A curious, proactive, and analytical approach to solving problems.
- Willingness to challenge and verify data when something does not look right.
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, warehousing, or administrative work is beneficial.
- A qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Supply Chain, Food Science, or a similar area is preferred.
- Portuguese or Polish language skills are an advantage, but not essential.
