Role overview
PepsiCo Foods Canada is looking for a new graduate to join its Data Science team in Mississauga, Ontario. The team uses analytics and advanced data science to support consumer demand, deepen customer partnerships, and improve end-to-end productivity. Work in this group spans Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Leadership, Supply Chain, and IT, with a strong focus on business priorities and agile delivery.
This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys solving business problems with data, has a strong analytical mindset, and is eager to turn insights into measurable business value. Compensation and workplace

Responsibilities
- Convert business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver multiple types of projects.
- Create proof-of-concept solutions using advanced analytics and data science methods.
- Present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders in a clear way.
- Help bring solutions into everyday business processes.
- Monitor technology developments and market trends to identify strong practices in advanced analytics.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate from the 2025/26 batch with a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Exposure to statistical modeling, machine learning, and/or deep learning.
- Working knowledge of analysis tools such as R or Python.
- Solid understanding of databases and strong SQL skills.
- Ability to work with data engineering and data blending tasks.
- Experience handling large datasets and relational databases.
- Familiarity with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplot.
- Ability to explain technical and business requirements in non-technical language.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
- Scrum or Agile experience is considered an advantage.
