Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is available for an immediate start and offers a monthly salary in the range of AED 2,500 to AED 3,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting records and bookkeeping accurately.
- Post journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support VAT return preparation and filing.
- Draft financial statements and client-facing reports.
- Liaise with clients to collect financial documents and reporting inputs.
- Assist the audit process when required.
- Maintain compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax rules.
- Prepare management and financial reports using Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of accounting work experience is required.
- Prior exposure to the UAE market is strongly preferred.
- Qualification preference includes CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, M.Com, or B.Com.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience with accounting platforms such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar software is preferred.
- Strong skills in analysis, organisation, and communication are needed.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work to deadlines is important.
- Audit experience will be an added advantage.
