Role overview
This opportunity is for an IT Sales & Business Development Executive focused on cybersecurity offerings. The role centers on expanding market reach for a SaaS phishing simulation and security awareness training platform, along with a Human Vulnerability Management software product. The position is based in Doha, Qatar and is aimed at someone who can create business demand, build strategic connections, and close subscription-led deals across important sectors in the country.
What you will do
- Identify fresh business leads and handle the sales journey from initial outreach through to signed contracts.
- Pitch and sell cybersecurity software-as-a-service products as well as managed security offerings.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in banking and financial services, oil and gas, government ministries and agencies, Qatari conglomerates and holding groups, universities and educational institutions, hospitals and healthcare providers, SMEs, and other private sector companies.
- Deliver product demonstrations for client meetings and presentations.
- Create proposals, quotations, and presentation materials.
- Grow and maintain a strong professional network across Qatar.
- Meet monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Represent the business at exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
Candidate profile
- A valid Qatar ID is required.
- Applicants should bring prior experience in IT sales, technology sales, or cybersecurity sales.
- A well-developed network within the Qatar business community is essential.
- Strong grasp of software, technology solutions, and related applications is needed.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with proposal preparation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities are expected.
- A valid Qatar driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have sold SaaS subscriptions, cybersecurity solutions, or managed services.
- Additional advantage for those with existing contacts in banks, public sector organizations, healthcare, universities, and large enterprises.
- Arabic speaking and writing ability is preferred.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems is beneficial.
