Role overview

Zentex IT is hiring a Bench Sales Recruiter for a full-time position based in Kanpur. The role focuses on US IT staffing and recruitment across the United States and Canada, with close coordination between candidates, consultants, and international clients. This is a fast-moving, relationship-driven position that requires strong communication and the ability to support candidates through every stage of the hiring process.

Work schedule and location

  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Work location: On-site in Kanpur
  • Working days: 5 days a week
  • Shift timing: Night shift aligned to US EST, from 7:00 PM IST to 4:30 AM IST

Key responsibilities

You will handle the complete recruitment cycle for US IT hiring needs, from sourcing and screening to coordination and placement. The role involves building candidate pipelines, managing communication with applicants, and ensuring smooth closure of openings while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Candidate sourcing and recruitment

  • Run the end-to-end hiring process for US IT staffing assignments.
  • Source, screen, and place talent for opportunities in the US and Canadian IT markets.
  • Identify candidates holding visa statuses such as OPT, CPT, H1B, GC, USC, TN, and EAD.
  • Create and maintain a strong database and pipeline of OPT/CPT profiles.
  • Use job portals, university channels, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment websites to find suitable candidates.
  • Work with H1B transfer and project transfer profiles through existing contacts and referral networks.
  • Publish openings on university portals and other recruitment platforms.

Candidate management and coordination

  • Stay in regular contact with candidates throughout the interview and selection process.
  • Share timely updates on interview status and hiring progress.
  • Guide candidates until final placement and closure of opportunities.
  • Develop strong working relationships with consultants, candidates, and internal team members.
  • Ensure positions are filled on time while delivering a high-quality experience to candidates.

Market and compliance knowledge

  • Work with US employment models and tax terms such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
  • Keep up with current IT industry trends and in-demand technologies.
  • Understand visa categories and the specifics of US recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Intermediate or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Good understanding of US visa classifications and employment types.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through portals, universities, and social networking channels.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Good organizational ability, networking skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work against targets in a performance-focused environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office for coordination and reporting.

Eligibility

Applicants with any educational background may apply, as graduation is not mandatory. Candidates who are comfortable with US IT recruitment, night shifts, and on-site work in Kanpur will be best suited for this role. Freshers can also apply.

Additional information

This position is for US IT staffing operations and requires regular interaction with candidates based in North America. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-volume recruitment environment and manage multiple hiring requirements at once.
