IT Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer to oversee and maintain our organization's network infrastructure and ensure seamless internet connectivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting various network devices, managing user accounts via Active Directory, and providing technical support to end users to uphold optimal IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and sustain the organization's network infrastructure and internet connections to guarantee high availability and peak performance
• Configure, monitor, and resolve issues with network equipment such as routers, switches, and related infrastructure components
• Manage and support Active Directory, user account administration, and Windows environments
• Set up laptops and desktops for new hires, including installing software and configuring systems
• Ensure endpoint security through management of antivirus tools and adherence to IT security policies
• Track and manage IT assets like laptops, desktops, and network devices, maintaining precise inventory records
• Provide daily IT operational support and technical assistance to users
• Enforce compliance with internal IT policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a closely related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technical support roles
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Experience in managing Active Directory and administration within Windows environments
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and internet connectivity
• Knowledge of best practices in IT security and experience with endpoint protection solutions
• Strong troubleshooting abilities along with effective communication and problem-solving skills
