Job description

Role Overview

This position supports the IT function by handling day-to-day administration, coordination, and record management. The role is suited to someone who is organized, detail-focused, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external vendors in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver administrative assistance to the IT team and individual staff members.
  • Keep IT files, logs, reports, and related documentation well organized and up to date.
  • Arrange calendars, meetings, and communication related to IT activities.
  • Support procurement work such as purchase requests, order tracking, and related paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and software licenses.
  • Help with onboarding and offboarding administration, including access-related requests.
  • Monitor IT service requests, follow up on pending items, and track next actions.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers on administrative coordination matters.
  • Assist in preparing documents for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Carry out general clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent organization and administrative capability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • Working knowledge of IT terms and processes is beneficial.

Education and Experience

A diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a similar discipline is required. The expected background includes 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination-based role. Prior exposure to IT support environments will be considered an added advantage.
