Role Overview
This opportunity is with a global healthcare and life sciences organization seeking an IT compliance professional to support periodic user access recertification across Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments. The position is fully remote from Ireland and follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Candidates who already have relevant IT and compliance experience and can start immediately will be well suited to the role.
What You Will Do
- Check and confirm user access lists before each recertification cycle begins.
- Spot and fix data issues such as duplicate accounts, inactive users, wrong managers, and incomplete records.
- Use Active Directory checks to verify user and manager information.
- Build and upload population files into access recertification platforms.
- Confirm that approval tasks and workflow assignments are created correctly.
- Launch recertification campaigns and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
- Track campaign progress and monitor completion rates.
- Review outstanding approvals and flag overdue access reviews.
- Move approval tasks when managers are unavailable or inactive.
- Send manual reminders and escalation notices as needed.
- Work closely with application owners, ITSO representatives, and business leaders to ensure timely closure.
- Create and preserve audit-ready records, including decision logs, PDFs, trackers, and supporting evidence.
- Support compliance with SOX controls and internal access governance standards.
- Maintain weekly progress updates and record any manual interventions or escalations.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with user access reviews, access recertification, IAM, or access governance.
- Solid knowledge of SOX controls and audit expectations.
- Practical experience with Active Directory.
- Strong Excel capability, including data checks, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Exposure to workflow or identity governance tools such as ServiceNow, SailPoint, Saviynt, Power Automate, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Good analytical ability and attention to data accuracy.
- Strong stakeholder communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle several recertification campaigns at the same time.
- Experience in regulated environments such as pharma, manufacturing, healthcare, or financial services.
- Understanding of IT general controls.
- Knowledge of identity governance and administration platforms.
- Experience supporting SOX audits and compliance programs.
- Familiarity with privileged access reviews and segregation of duties concepts.
Additional Information
The role is based in Ireland and is fully remote. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The position is intended for candidates who are available to begin immediately.
