About the Role
This position sits within a global access solutions business that helps create safer, more secure, and sustainable environments. The Ironmongery Scheduler plays a key part in preparing, checking, and coordinating door hardware schedules and specification documents for project submissions. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that selected ironmongery products align with project needs and applicable standards. The position reports to the Specification Manager in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed schedules for door hardware and ironmongery based on project specifications, architectural drawings, and door schedules.
- Assess tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements.
- Suggest appropriate ironmongery solutions that meet project expectations and relevant codes.
- Make sure all hardware schedules are accurate, complete, and aligned with door types and intended functions.
- Check that all work complies with applicable standards, fire-rating rules, accessibility requirements, and project specifications.
- Confirm that doors, frames, hardware, and access control systems are technically compatible.
- Keep revision histories and approved schedule records organized and up to date.
- Prepare technical cut sheets, submission documents, and product-related paperwork.
- Maintain project schedule logs and document control records.
- Support internal budget estimate preparation using hardware schedules.
Requirements

- A diploma in Architecture, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
- Ideally, candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in architectural ironmongery, door hardware scheduling, or specification writing.
- Strong knowledge of door hardware products and industry standards is expected.
- Ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings is essential.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Good communication and coordination skills are needed.
- High attention to detail and the ability to juggle several projects at once are important.
- Experience with fire-rated door requirements and accessibility standards is preferred.
- Exposure to BIM/Revit and specification software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with access control and electronic locking systems is beneficial.
