About the role
NEX Partners is an independent mergers and acquisitions advisory boutique that works with entrepreneurs, founders, and investors on acquisitions, sales, and strategic transactions. The firm is developing a modern, entrepreneurial advisory platform and is seeking a driven Analyst who can contribute to live deal work, collaborate closely with senior team members, and support the company’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Create financial models and valuation work, including discounted cash flow analysis, trading multiples, and transaction multiples.
- Develop client-facing materials such as pitch presentations, marketing documents, teasers, and confidential information memoranda.
- Carry out research on companies, industries, and market trends.
- Assist with due diligence activities and overall transaction execution.
- Take part in client discussions, management meetings, and investor conversations.
- Support live domestic and international M&A transactions throughout the process, from origination through closing.
Profile sought
The ideal candidate has strong academic results from a recognized university or business school and holds a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative field. You should bring strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, a genuine interest in M&A, corporate finance, and entrepreneurship, along with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability. Clear communication in both German and English is essential.
