Job description

Role overview

The Investment Analyst will support investment decisions by researching companies, markets, and macroeconomic conditions, then turning that information into actionable insights for portfolio management and capital allocation. The role centers on spotting opportunities that fit the firm’s strategy while keeping an eye on risk.

What you will do

  • Collect and review financial information from company filings, market studies, sector resources, and economic data.
  • Assess business performance, valuation measures, and growth prospects to judge how attractive an opportunity is across different asset classes.
  • Develop financial models and carry out valuation work, including scenario and sensitivity analysis to estimate potential outcomes and risks.
  • Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
  • Track existing portfolio holdings by monitoring performance, reviewing updates, and identifying changes that may affect returns.
  • Follow industry developments, market shifts, and broader economic trends that can influence investment choices.
  • Support due diligence by examining financial statements, business strategy, management quality, and competitive positioning.
  • Work closely with senior investment professionals by providing clear, data-backed analysis to inform strategic decisions.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical ability with solid quantitative and financial modeling skills.
  • Comfort working with financial statements, valuation metrics, and market information.
  • Understanding of investment concepts, portfolio management, and risk evaluation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Excel, spreadsheets, and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to think critically about data and assumptions.
  • Capability to build models, perform valuation analysis, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze economic and market trends.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and investment strategy.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage several analyses and deadlines at once.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with investment teams and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-moving financial environment.
