In this position, you will support commercial and investment decision-making across a varied portfolio of projects and opportunities. The work spans transaction execution, financial modelling, strategic support, capital management, and portfolio monitoring.
You will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors while contributing to important investment initiatives and high-profile assignments.
Key duties
- Create and maintain financial models and commercial assessments to support decision-making.
- Assist with due diligence processes and transaction-related work.
- Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior leaders and other stakeholders.
- Track investment performance and support portfolio management activities.
Skills and experience
- Advanced capability in financial modelling and analysis.
- Previous experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment, consulting, advisory, or a similar commercial setting.
- Prior experience in the energy sector is essential.
- Strong commercial judgement with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confidence handling several priorities and working with different stakeholder groups.
- A degree in finance, economics, commerce, engineering, or a closely related field.

- Wide-ranging exposure to commercial and investment work.
- Direct interaction with senior leaders and key decision-makers.
- Participation in significant projects and transactions.
- Clear opportunities for long-term career growth.
- A collaborative, ambitious, and high-performance team culture.
Company culture
The employer is an established global business with a strong history of developing and delivering major energy projects across Australia. The environment gives employees visibility across project development, commercial strategy, investment activity, and long-term value creation, rather than limiting them to one narrow function.
The team culture is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and high performing. Employees work closely with senior leadership, take on meaningful responsibility, and have the chance to directly influence project outcomes.
