Job description
Role overview
The Investment Analyst will support portfolio and capital allocation decisions by carrying out detailed financial research, assessing opportunities, and helping determine how investments fit with strategy and risk targets. The role centers on reviewing markets, businesses, and economic conditions to spot attractive opportunities across different asset classes.
What you will do
You will collect and examine financial information from company filings, market studies, industry publications, and macroeconomic indicators. A major part of the role is evaluating business performance, valuation measures, and growth outlook to judge whether an investment looks appealing.
You will also create financial models, run valuation work, and test assumptions through scenario and sensitivity analysis to estimate possible returns and risks. The position contributes to investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal decision-makers or investment committees.
Another important part of the job is tracking existing portfolio holdings, reviewing financial updates, and identifying shifts in performance, risk, or opportunity. You will stay current on industry movement, market trends, and broader economic developments that can influence investment outcomes.
The role further supports due diligence by reviewing financial statements, business plans, leadership quality, and competitive positioning for prospective investments. You will work alongside senior investment professionals to deliver data-backed insights that support strategic choices.
Qualifications and skills
This position calls for strong analytical judgment, close attention to detail, and the ability to make sense of complex financial information. Success in the role also depends on clear communication, solid organizational habits, and the ability to manage several analyses and deadlines at once.

- Comfort with reading financial statements, valuation indicators, and market information.
