Intern Product & Technology Management

Role overview

This internship places you in a hands-on product role within a fast-scaling fintech. You will take ownership of your work end to end, get exposure to the technology side of the business, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to meaningful product outcomes. The position starts at the beginning of 2026 and is based at the Berlin office.

What you will work on

• Support product initiatives across the full feature lifecycle, from early idea generation and user research through to release.
• Assist with front-end improvements focused on user experience, as well as back-end work involving data flows and dashboards.
• Use data analysis, reporting, and process thinking to help refine product direction and turn business objectives into practical tasks and trackable results.
• Research competitors, market developments, and industry trends, then present insights in a clear visual format to support decisions and roadmap planning.
• Work alongside Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to keep initiatives moving and help deliver projects smoothly.

Who the role is for

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline, ideally with a focus on management, IT, or design.
• You have strong analytical thinking and can approach complex problems methodically by breaking them into actionable steps.
• You are interested in data-led decision-making and enjoy solving problems.
• You are curious about fintech, technology, and building customer experiences that matter.
• You take initiative, work proactively, and can manage several priorities at once.
• You communicate clearly and work well with Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues.
• You speak German and English fluently.
• You are available full time for at least 3 months and can travel to the Berlin HQ as part of a hybrid working setup.
• Applications are also welcome from candidates who do not meet every listed requirement.

Nice-to-have experience

• Exposure to tools such as Linear, Figma, Webflow, JavaScript, or similar product and tech tools.
• Previous experience in start-ups, consulting, or financial services.
