Role Overview
This internship sits within the Digital Marketing Analytics function and focuses on strengthening social media reporting, analytics, and insight generation. The role offers practical experience in measuring social performance, tracking campaigns, monitoring conversations, and helping improve the way reports and insights are produced so they are more reliable, efficient, and scalable.
The opportunity is best suited to someone who wants to understand how social media performance is measured, how data is turned into stakeholder-ready insights, and how reporting workflows can be refined to better support business decisions.
Social Media Reporting and Insights
- Assist with internal social media reporting, including competitor benchmarking and comparative analysis.
- Build familiarity with core social metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, engagement rate, and click-through rate, along with how each is calculated and presented.
- Review social listening outputs to identify conversation patterns, sentiment, buzz volume, and engagement opportunities.
- Translate findings into clear, visually engaging updates for marketing teams and senior stakeholders.
- Offer observations and recommendations that go beyond describing results to explaining drivers and suggesting next actions.
Reporting Automation and Process Improvement
- Examine recurring analytics and social reporting outputs to spot repetition and improvement opportunities.
- Combine scattered reports into reusable templates that reduce manual work and improve consistency.
- Record and standardize metric definitions, reporting rules, and calculation logic used by different teams.
- Support enhancements to dashboards and reporting outputs, including logic, layout, and filters.
- Help maintain internal SOPs, naming standards, and governance documentation.
- Contribute simple, practical ideas to streamline reporting workflows and data delivery.
Social Media Tools and Paid Social Exposure
- Support campaign tracking and performance reporting for social media initiatives.
- Assist in reviewing paid social campaign performance and preparing summary reports.
- Help ensure recurring or automated outputs from social media marketing tools remain relevant and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Education and Eligibility
Candidates should currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
Additional Requirements
The role calls for interest in social media measurement and performance reporting, with prior exposure to analytics or dashboarding tools considered helpful. Experience with Python, R, Power BI, or SQL will be viewed positively.
Applicants should be strong analytical thinkers who can interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions. Clear written and verbal communication is important, especially when presenting insights to different audiences. The position also requires a structured approach, attention to detail, and comfort with documenting logic, workflows, and definitions.
