What you will do
The scheduler will coordinate planning activities for the Maintenance Planning team, bringing together schedules from maintenance and support work centres into draft and final versions. The role also includes reviewing schedules to improve efficiency, reduce conflicts, and work in close partnership with planners and area owners.
Work schedule
- Site-based role with a two-week on, two-week off rotation
- 11-hour workdays
- Mine flights provided from Saskatoon or Prince Albert
Responsibilities
- Create draft and final maintenance schedules, check for clashes, improve sequencing, identify critical paths, and complete scenario planning
- Lead meetings including notification reviews and schedule compliance discussions
- Take part in integrated site scheduling meetings and related coordination activities
Requirements
- Between 4 and 10+ years of experience in a comparable position
- Strong computer proficiency
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Background in scheduling medium to large industrial projects and/or operational work
- Advanced ability with Primavera P6, Prometheus, or similar scheduling software
