Role Overview
This position supports inside sales activities and customer coordination for Saudi Arabia, with a requirement that the candidate is currently based in Riyadh or elsewhere in Saudi Arabia. The role combines sales support, customer communication, administrative follow-up, and operational coordination to help move opportunities through the lead-to-order cycle efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate sample processing within agreed timelines, while balancing delivery speed, sample volume, and cost considerations in collaboration with sales colleagues.
- Prepare quotations, contracts, and pricing agreements promptly with the pricing team, using agreed minimum order quantities, bulk pricing, additional packaging charges, and payment and delivery terms.
- Maintain clear and effective process documentation in the company’s internal systems.
- Keep customer master records accurate and up to date.
- Track visit reports, opportunities, contracts, pricing, order quantities, batch sizes, packaging details, payment terms, receipts, and complaints, then prepare customer-specific analyses.
- Arrange and coordinate internal and external customer meetings and visits with the relevant departments.
- Manage customer complaints alongside notification management, sales, and quality teams, communicate with customers, and support corrective actions such as credit notes with approval from the line manager and sales.
- Assist sales teams and customers throughout the lead-to-order process, including opportunity handling and requests for information (RFI).
- Handle administrative work for account managers, including entering and updating forecasts.
- Take initiative on overdue accounts to support cash flow, payment follow-up, and dispute resolution.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Bring 3 to 5 years of experience in sales support or customer service, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
- Have strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Be fluent in English; Arabic is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Show energy, initiative, and a dynamic business attitude.
- Prior experience with SAP is preferred.
- Work well in a team and maintain a strong focus on customer needs.
- Be comfortable with problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Only applicants currently based in Riyadh or Saudi Arabia are eligible.
