Role Summary
This is a full-time hybrid position in Kampala with the option to work partly from home. In this role, you will guide clients in clarifying their financial goals and building practical plans to reach them. You will develop detailed financial strategies, advise on retirement and investment opportunities, and oversee the structuring and improvement of client portfolios. A key part of the job is partnering closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver complete financial plans aligned with each client’s goals.
- Provide advice on retirement planning and investment choices.
- Review, manage, and improve client investment portfolios.
- Work with clients to assess objectives, risk tolerance, and financial priorities.
- Design personalized strategies based on individual client circumstances.
- Maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients through ongoing advisory support.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of financial planning and core finance concepts.
- Hands-on understanding of retirement planning and investment products.
- Experience delivering financial advisory services.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to develop and sustain enduring client relationships.
- Professional credentials such as CFP, CFA, or similar are advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial software and related tools is an added advantage.
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to client confidentiality.
