Job description
Role overview
FIVE Hotels and Resorts is offering an exciting opening for an Income Auditor in Dubai. This position sits within the finance function and is designed for someone who can combine hospitality revenue control with a modern, data-led approach. The role focuses on protecting income, spotting leakages, improving profitability, and building smarter audit processes through analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
Rather than a traditional audit-only position, this opportunity is meant for a forward-thinking professional who can support revenue assurance across front office, food and beverage, and nightlife/event operations. The successful candidate will help shift income audit from a purely control-oriented function into a strategic partner for the business.
What the role requires
The ideal person is a proactive self-starter with strong communication, leadership, and organisational abilities. You should be detail-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you need to think critically, solve problems creatively, and act with ownership.
A confident, approachable working style is important, as the role involves close coordination with operations teams and other stakeholders. The company is looking for someone who can deliver precise results while contributing positively to a dynamic hospitality environment.
Experience and technical background
This position calls for 2 to 4 years of experience in income audit or revenue audit within hospitality. Strong exposure to front office operations is required, and experience in food and beverage operations is also important. Background in nightlife, events, or party operations is highly preferred.
Technically, the role requires advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, Power Query, and data modelling. Strong Power BI skills are expected, especially for dashboard creation and automation. Experience with automation tools is considered a major advantage, and practical use of AI tools for data analysis is preferred. Familiarity with Micros POS, PMS platforms, SAP, and OTA systems is also part of the role.
Core responsibilities
You will be responsible for end-to-end revenue audit controls across multiple business areas, including room revenue, packages, no-shows, and upgrades in front office; outlet controls such as voids, discounts, and rebates in F&B; and revenue-related processes in nightlife, events, and party operations, including ticketing, table bookings, and promoter agreements.
The job also includes building dashboards and automated reports to track daily revenue, highlight exceptions, and analyse outlet performance. You will need to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort, and turn audit findings into clear, practical insights for operations and leadership.
Another major part of the role is improving automation and applying AI-supported analysis. This includes designing workflows using Excel, Power Query, and scripting methods, while using AI tools to detect anomalies, study transactions, and anticipate revenue trends. You will also partner closely with front office, F&B, and nightlife/event teams through spot checks, surprise audits, and process reviews.
In addition, you will help strengthen systems and processes by ensuring proper use of PMS, POS, and reservation platforms, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements. The role includes contributing to digital transformation efforts within income audit.
Performance focus
Success in this role will be measured by the value you help recover and protect, the level of audit automation achieved, the reduction in manual audit time, the accuracy and speed of reporting, and improvements in operational compliance.
Working environment
This is a high-energy hospitality environment shaped by FIVE’s distinctive culture. The organisation values people who are confident, creative, hard-working, and comfortable in an energetic, high-performance setting. The company emphasizes unforgettable guest experiences, innovation, and a distinctive lifestyle-driven approach to hospitality.
