Identity and Access Specialist

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking an IAM/PAM Design Expert to shape, deploy, and support enterprise-level Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management capabilities. The position is centered on protecting critical systems by strengthening identity lifecycle controls, authentication, and privileged access safeguards. The right candidate will bring solid experience with platforms such as CyberArk and BeyondTrust, plus a strong grasp of authentication standards and directory services.

What you will do

• Plan, design, and roll out end-to-end IAM and PAM solutions across the organization.
• Create, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures for identity lifecycle management, access governance, access reviews, and privileged session oversight.
• Connect IAM/PAM tools with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, including infrastructure, business applications, and SaaS platforms.
• Act as a go-to specialist for IAM and PAM topics, guiding engineering teams and business partners on security practices and compliance expectations.
• Carry out regular evaluations of user permissions and privileged accounts to confirm alignment with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Investigate and fix difficult identity issues, including authentication, authorization, and integration problems.
• Stay current on evolving IAM/PAM technologies, security risks, and industry developments to improve the overall security posture.
• Keep architecture documentation, process guides, and operational runbooks up to date for IAM/PAM services.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or another related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience building and implementing IAM and PAM solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Practical, mandatory experience with CyberArk and/or BeyondTrust.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience working with directory services including Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP.
• Preferred certifications such as CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) or BeyondTrust Certified Professional.
• Ability to use scripting tools like PowerShell or Python to automate tasks and support integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud identity platforms such as Azure AD, Okta, or similar IAM services.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills to explain complex identity concepts to different audiences.
