About the Role
Beckett's Foods Ltd has been operating in the CV2 area of Coventry since 1983 and is looking to add more team members to support a growing, established food processing business. The company aims to provide stability and a long-term career path for its people.
This opening is for a Hygiene Operative working the night shift in a continental pattern from 18:00 to 06:00, with 7 shifts across a 14-day cycle. The annual salary for the role is £29,569.93.
Key Duties
- Carry out cleaning of production lines and equipment in line with the approved safe system of work.
- Follow standard operating procedures accurately at all times.
- Check that cleaning tools and equipment are functioning properly and are safe to use.
- Wash machinery in the machine wash area to the required specification and confirm the equipment is fit for use.
- Maintain cleanliness across line areas, including the removal of waste.
- Prepare and use cleaning chemicals at the correct dilution levels.
- Complete regular deep-cleaning tasks according to schedule.
- Observe all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Support a strong safety culture through regular and consistent job rotation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will already have experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role. You should be comfortable following Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures and able to perform effectively under pressure. The job involves heavy lifting and manual handling, so physical capability is important.
