Role overview
As a Manufacturing Operative focused on hygiene, you will be part of the Production and Warehouse team at a manufacturing site in Rushden. The role is centered on supporting good manufacturing standards while keeping the workplace safe, efficient, and clean.
Your main task will be to clean the production area after production has ended, along with washing equipment, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
What you’ll do
- Carry out end-of-shift cleaning across the production area.
- Clean and sanitise equipment, machinery, and PPE.
- Help maintain a hygienic, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
- Work closely with the Production and Warehouse teams as part of the wider site operation.

About you
No previous experience is needed for this position; full training and support will be provided. You’ll suit this role if you enjoy a fast-moving environment, like working as part of a team, and are comfortable being physically active throughout the day.
You should also be able to stay focused during repetitive tasks and feel comfortable working in a production setting where temperatures may vary.
