Role Overview
A reputable company in Doha is hiring two HVAC Technicians who are skilled in troubleshooting and repairs and can handle work across workshop, on-site, and off-site settings. The role calls for a dependable professional with strong technical knowledge in HVAC systems and a collaborative attitude.
Compensation and Allowances
The monthly pay package totals QAR 2,200 and is broken down as follows: basic salary QAR 1,500, food allowance QAR 500, other allowance QAR 150, and mobile allowance QAR 50.
Contract and Working Conditions
This is a 2-year contract position. Work timing is from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Overtime is provided after normal working hours based on basic salary. The company will arrange QID, work visa, 2-year round-trip tickets, medical coverage, transportation, and accommodation.
Candidate Responsibilities
The technician will be expected to install, maintain, inspect, and repair HVAC equipment used in commercial and industrial environments. The job involves resolving refrigeration and control-system issues, checking temperatures and pressures, and ensuring systems run safely and efficiently.
Work will include handling equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF units, package units, screw compressors, piston compressors, and scroll compressors. The technician should also be able to respond to service calls, address electrical and panel-related faults, and complete routine preventive maintenance.
Technical Scope
Experience with brands such as York, Carrier, Blue Star, SKM, Daikin, Samsung, and Mitsubishi is preferred. The role also includes MCC and control panel inspection, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, tightening connections, replacing worn components, and carrying out functional checks.
Reporting and Documentation
The candidate must prepare reports, keep maintenance records, and log service activities clearly. Reading manuals, diagrams, and blueprints is part of the job.
Requirements
Applicants should have 5 to 10 years of experience, with Gulf experience preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent working ability are important. The candidate must be comfortable troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC and electrical issues, and should be flexible enough to work at any time as needed.
