Role overview
This contract role supports a range of human resources activities, including recruitment support, employee services, training coordination, and ad hoc projects. The position is based onsite at 12740 TELECOMM PKWY, Tampa, FL 33637, and is a 3-month assignment.
Core duties
The role involves handling employee communications, organizing data for reporting, improving internal processes, training campus HR assistants on badge and employee services workflows, completing new-hire tracking and separation processing when required, and providing support across other HR campuses as needed. The position also requires independent work for roughly half of the time, backing New Employee Experience activities on schedule, and assisting with system-wide HR recognition events.
General office support is also part of the job, including answering and routing incoming calls and directing callers to the right information. A strong customer-service approach is expected at all times, along with respectful and collaborative working relationships.
Skills and working style
The successful candidate should be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, thinking critically, solving problems, and identifying needs ahead of time. The job calls for independence, sound judgment, troubleshooting ability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay on schedule and meet deadlines. Experience and education
Two years of work-related experience is required. A background in business or a related area is preferred, with an associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
