Job description
Role Overview
The Human Resources Officer will handle and support core HR activities across the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment, employee relations, administration of compensation and benefits, timekeeping, payroll coordination, employee engagement, and training support. The position also plays an important part in keeping HR processes compliant with company policies and labor regulations while contributing to a healthy, efficient, and positive workplace.
Core Responsibilities
- Support hiring activities and recruitment processes.
- Manage employee relations matters and help maintain a constructive workplace environment.
- Administer compensation and benefits processes.
- Oversee timekeeping records and assist with payroll coordination.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and training activities.
- Ensure HR practices align with internal policies and applicable labor laws.
- Maintain smooth day-to-day HR operations with accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- The role calls for at least 2 to 3 years of prior experience in human resources.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools is needed; experience with HRIS is an added advantage.
- Applicants should have solid knowledge of local labor laws, recruitment methods, employee relations, and compensation and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- The candidate must be able to manage confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
