Job description
Role Overview
Aviata at Englewood in Englewood, Florida is looking for a results-oriented Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about employee experience, workplace culture, and operational excellence. In this role, you will support the HR function by delivering policies, programs, and services that align with business priorities and comply with the relevant regulatory framework.
What You Will Do
- Manage and assist HR activities across several skilled nursing and care centers.
- Coach and develop facility leaders and HR coordinators, with travel between locations as part of the role.
- Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts across multiple sites.
- Create and execute hiring and retention approaches that strengthen workforce stability and support growth.
- Assess candidates and contribute practical recommendations on hiring decisions where needed.
- Build and run engagement and recognition initiatives for the assigned facilities.
- Apply HR policies and procedures consistently in line with company standards and applicable federal, state, and regulatory rules.
- Work with leadership to improve HR workflows, systems, and overall organizational performance.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
- At least 1 year of progressive HR experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employment law.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple locations and diverse teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Professional conduct, integrity, and a consistent focus on quality work are essential.
