Overview
This opportunity is for a contract Human Resources Generalist who can perform well in a fast-moving setting and needs little oversight. The role suits an HR professional who is comfortable making sound judgments, resolving issues on their own, and acting as a reliable partner to managers across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Support hiring activities, new-hire onboarding, and employee retention efforts.
- Help ensure the organization follows applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage HR programs, policies, procedures, and employee-facing communications.
- Keep HR information system records accurate and prepare reports that inform business decisions.
- Contribute to learning programs, employee engagement efforts, and organizational development work.
- Look for ways to improve processes and put effective HR practices into place.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
