Role Overview
Our client is an international technology organization focused on tackling complex challenges that others often overlook. Its U.S. headquarters is in Chicago, located in Fulton Market. The company is hiring an HR Business Partner to work closely with the HR team and support the continued expansion of its U.S. business. This position plays a key role in executing the people strategy by helping the organization attract, grow, and keep strong talent. You will collaborate with business leaders to strengthen culture, improve performance, and support employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside business leaders to advise managers, assist with development planning, and drive HR initiatives.
- Offer support on employee relations matters, performance management, and organizational transitions.
- Partner with Talent, Total Rewards, and broader HR teams on major programs and process enhancements.
- Help maintain compliance with employment legislation and internal company policies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and brings more than 5 years of advancing HR experience. A solid understanding of HR practices and employment law is essential. Strong verbal and written communication, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities are important. You should be comfortable handling sensitive information, managing several priorities at once, and working in a proactive, flexible way with a genuine interest in helping people develop.
