Role overview
Eden Rose is working with a growing international professional services firm to hire a Human Resources Business Partner in Dubai, UAE, with occasional travel to the UK. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a wide-ranging and commercially oriented HR position covering the UAE, UK, and US. The role combines strategic business partnering with practical day-to-day delivery, with responsibility for employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, performance, culture, employee relations, HR operations, payroll coordination, and the full employee journey.
The position is well suited to an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-moving, results-focused setting and enjoys shaping people strategies that have a direct impact on business performance.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior leaders in the UAE, UK, and US to ensure people plans support wider business goals.
- Contribute to organisational structure planning, headcount forecasting, talent planning, and engagement programmes.
- Help build a strong performance-driven culture centred on accountability, teamwork, and development.
- Support performance reviews, employee growth plans, and retention initiatives.
- Review people metrics and workforce trends to spot improvement opportunities.
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary action, grievances, and performance concerns.
- Advise on employment law, HR standards, and compliance requirements across multiple regions.
- Update and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and probation through promotions, changes, and exit processes.
- Assist with payroll operations and coordinate with finance and external partners to ensure payroll is accurate and on schedule.
- Keep HR systems, employee files, and reporting data current, accurate, and compliant.
- Identify and implement improvements to HR processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist role.
- Current, strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases independently.
- Solid understanding of performance management, engagement, and workplace culture.
- Background supporting organisations operating across several regions or legal jurisdictions.
- Capability to think strategically while also handling hands-on operational work.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and influencing others.
- Experience in a commercial, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
- Prior involvement in payroll coordination and HR administration.
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7, or an equivalent qualification, would be an advantage.
- Experience in an international or multi-site business is desirable.

This role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with ad hoc travel to the UK. It is a full-time onsite position. The employer is seeking someone commercially minded who can make a broad and meaningful contribution across the HR function.
