Role Summary
The HR Business Partner will own key HR support functions, including onboarding, engagement, reporting, employee relations, development, and performance management, along with day-to-day human resources responsibilities. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, helping align people practices with business priorities. The position reports to the Chief People Officer and works closely with business leaders to keep HR processes efficient, effective, and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle incoming business needs by partnering with department leaders, responding promptly to questions and requests, and coordinating with the right internal partners.
- Build and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and scorecards that help the organization make informed decisions.
- Use the HRIS to keep employee data accurate and complete, troubleshoot data issues, and escalate when needed.
- Stay current on changing HR regulations and employment/data requirements to ensure people actions remain compliant and to recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual department communications, documentation, and events such as recognitions, leadership meetings, and open enrollment.
- Work with leaders to strengthen employee engagement through event planning, execution, and feedback collection.
- Present HR analytics in a clear, practical format so leaders can understand the business impact of trends and decisions.
- Provide guidance to HRBPs and other HR teams on data, policy, systems, and reporting needs.
- Partner with business leaders to define goals and practical paths that connect measurable outcomes with growth-oriented ideas.
- Find creative ways to support team development using a coaching-oriented approach.
- Act as a subject matter expert on employee relations, including assessment, investigations, and resolution of concerns.
- Help design and implement policies and procedures that provide clear, compliant, and effective guidance for the business.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience applying and supporting HR policies and procedures from concept through implementation.
- Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to deliver customer-focused support across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage several priorities at once, and identify issues that may require escalation.
- Strong analytical ability and close attention to detail, including experience gathering, organizing, and interpreting HR data.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or Sales Rabbit is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience aligned with education.
- At least 3–5+ years of progressive experience in HR functions such as employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, investigations, reporting, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Experience using HR information systems and analytics tools; UKG experience is a plus.
